My site happens to use the same theme for the front-end part of the site as well as my wordpress blog. If you've got the patients to plug in your own information and provide some of your own pictures, using Wordpress for your own unique website is fantastic. Another alternative is using Squarespace, which might be a little more turn-key and less of a learning curve. Squarespace charges a monthly fee, but is very easy to use.
