Every person has a blueprint for healing, an innate capacity to transform illness into wellness. When that blueprint is distorted and the mind-body’s systems to repair and restore itself have become confused, the body becomes stuck in illness and fails to heal itself the way it was designed to do. Discover the NeuroModulation Technique (NMT) method of “informational medicine” and learn the key to unraveling and correcting the informational basis of illness, and suffering.

Here is what you will learn:

A new way to understand the way the universe is structured and how it functions that will convince you of the scientific foundation of NMT.

Two unique forms of muscle response testing that allow you to accurately find out why the body is ill and let you train it to heal.

Special dialogs called NMT “clinical pathways” instantly retrain the mind-body to restore its innate capacity to heal including:

NMT Universal Care Toxin Pathway: Learn how to train the body to detox itself without the need for special supplements or medications. Laboratory studies have shown 2x-3x increases in heavy metal elimination – solely by application of the NMT Toxin Pathway.

NMT Universal Care Infectious Agent Pathway: Ever wonder why one person in a family gets an infection and another doesn’t. It’s all about how accurately and efficiently the immune system is reading and responding to the challenge of pathogenic microbes. NMT Universal Care retrains the immune system to recognize and respond to infection – bringing a quick end to respiratory, digestive, skin, and other types of infection without dangerous antibiotics.

NMT Universal Care Allergy and Autoimmune Pathway: Allergy and autoimmune diseases are conditions that clearly reflect confusion of the body’s systems to regulate its function. How else to explain why our own immune system would attack the body or produce illness in response to foods or environmental substances that offer no real threat. NMT resolves allergies of all types by finding and fixing the nervous system confusion that causes them – often immediately.

NMT Universal Care Sensory-Motor Pathway: Resolve pain, even pain of months or years duration in minutes. This incredible NMT module for control of musculoskeletal symptoms like pain and stiffness succeeds where pain meds and muscle relaxers have been of little help. Imagine being able to stop pain and release muscle tightness in moments with no pills.

NMT Affective States Pathway: Bring immediate relief to emotional suffering and psychological pain. The NMT model tells us that emotions set the operating mode and tone for the mind-body. No emotion is good or bad, but when we become locked into emotions that aren’t appropriate for the present moment they misdirect the body into a disease state. Can you imagine that an allergy sufferer’s immune system might be stuck in a mode of fear misdirecting it to react against foods or airborne substances that are not really a threat? Can you imagine that a mind-body stuck in a mode of rage might have a tendency toward arthritis or other inflammation? NMT Universal Care offers tools to immediately find and fix such self-destructive nervous system patterns and restore the healthy emotional and psychological state required for healing.

You don’t need to be a health care professional to learn NMT Universal Care.
Are you interested in learning how you can heal yourself? Are you a mom or dad who wants to protect the health of their children, friends, and family? Are you a health care professional who wants to learn state of the art “informational medicine” that you can use your first day back in your office? Then NMT Universal Care Workshop is for you!

Whether you are a health care provider looking for new, simple, and easily learned ways to help your clients, or someone who would like to help yourself, your friends and family, you can finally have some real power and control of your health instead of being a passive consumer of drugs and medical care. Whoever you are, the NMT Universal Care Workshop will transform your life and the lives of those you help with your new NMT skills. Plan now to join us for the most interesting and valuable workshop you have ever attended!

If you come to the live seminar and also purchase the DVD seminar set, the DVDs are reduced 50%.

Often times small business owners (chiropractors) receive solicitations by mail that appear to be bills for advertising. Directory listings for “Yellow Pages” types of companies have for years been notorious for sending these mailings. Business owners beware, nearly 100% of these are not bills but rather a solicitation for goods or services. I feel they are a huge waste of money but I imagine the practice could be extremely lucrative for a directory company.

I scanned one I recently received at my ADIO Chiropractic office and wanted to share it with you. I divided into 4 sections below. Here is the top of page.

A Yellow Pages Directory Order Form

Looks official eh? Mailed in December to ADIO Chiropractic in Los Angeles, and it looks like a bill. It has the familiar “fingers walking” in the logo, along with an address. There’s a tracking number and options to edit the listing and even include a logo.

Section 2 shows listing and classification as CHIROPRACTORS DC, followed by a classification code and a yearly amount of $312.55. I wonder how many businesses mail those checks in? If it were an internet paid link directory, I still wouldn’t advise mailing a check (or making payment via credit card), paid link directories are a no-no for Google.

The section above does state that this is not a bill, but an offer (solicitation) for goods or services. It also states that you are under no obligation to make a payment unless you accept (want) the offer. My guess is many don’t see or read the info and they mail in payment, otherwise I would not have been receiving mailings like this one several times per year for the past decade plus.

The last section is what gets mailed in (should you accept the offer). The company accepts credit cards, checks and 30 Days Net payment. They do include their mailing address and Tax ID on the section that gets mailed in, and I suppose if a business owner wanted to they could make payment and have a tax write-off for advertising.

I don’t know about you but I’d say there are far better ways to advertise.

I get postcards for seminars mailed to my chiropractic office in Los Angeles on a regular basis. Nearly all the seminars are for continuing education events in the state of California but sometimes they are for other areas as well. I recently received a postcard for a Dick Versendaal Seminar which takes place near LAX in February 2013 and I later noticed that there are several 2013 dates for his series of seminars posted to the planet chiropractic seminars pages.

From what I see posted, locations for 2013 include West Palm Beach, Los Angeles, St. Louis, West Virginia, New Jersey, Michigan, New Mexico, New York and Chicago. Here’s a copy of the postcard I received followed by some information regarding this form of analysis developed by Dr. Versendaal.

Contact Reflex Analysis® (CRA®), simply stated, is an energy connection. It is a technique that utilizes a muscle response as an indicator and assessment of the energy status of each organ, gland, system, or structure. This energy assessment is accomplished by testing one or more reflexes, which are similar to acupuncture points and meridians, and monitoring the reactance of the muscle when in contact with these points. The more the body reacts when an energy imbalance is located, the weaker the muscle. In CRA the practitioner typically applies a single, downward push on the wrist of a patient’s outstretched arm while also making contact with a specific reflex point on the patient’s body. The gentle, but firm push is like a subtle “question” and the muscle reactivity response is the “answer.”

Dr. Dick Versendaal, DC, CRA, DCRC, DACBN is a master chiropractor who studied under and was mentored by BJ Palmer. He is an absolute genius of the synergy between the spine, organs, systems, and nutritional chemistry. Over the past 50 years he has researched, developed, and refined the subtle-energy technique called Contact Reflex Analysis™ through which one can determine the root cause of a health issue; emotional, nutritional, structural, or a combination of the three.

Make Me Prove It! says the bold text in a chiropractors advertisement that appeared in a Los Angeles newspaper around 1921. The chiropractor, Dr. C.C. Petersen, was one of several downtown Los Angeles area chiropractors placing advertisements in local newspapers.

Similar to the You Need Not Be Sick! advertisement by 1919 chiropractor Joseph H. Coleman, Dr. Petersens ad mentions more than 15 so-called conditions that could be addressed with a chiropractic adjustment.

Make Me Prove It! (1920s Chiropractic Advertisement)

The text is not the easiest to read but the information on the left says: CC Petersen’s chiropractic adjustments remove the cause of so-called:

Rheumatism

Asthma

Lumbago

Stomach, Spleen, Liver and Eye Troubles

High Blood Pressure

Nervous and Skin Disorders

Constipation

Headaches

Catarrh

Paralysis

Bronchitis

Neuralgia

Neuritis

Deafness

Hayfever

According to the advertisement Dr. Petersen was in practice seven years when the ad was placed. Phone numbers were different in the 1920s and it looks like the phone number reads Phone 67542.

The office was located in Suite 505 to 509 Homer Laughlin Bldg., 315 South Broadway (downtown Los Angeles). That part of downtown Los Angeles was very popular in the 1920s (and still is today). The Homer Laughlin building was constructed in 1896 and is rumored to be the first fireproof building in Los Angeles. Today the downstairs of the building is the location for the Grand Central Market (the oldest and largest open-air market in the downtown Los Angeles area).

Note the chiropractors adjusting hours include three weekdays working until 8 PM. I don’t know many chiropractors in the United States that today have office hours that late in the evening. Also note there are no hours listed for Saturday or Sunday.

Dr. Petersen lists being a member of three chiropractic organizations; one national, one state, and one local. The three chiropractic associations listed in the advertisement read: Member National Federation Chiropractors, Federated Chiropractors of California, L.A. County Chiropractors Association

Certainly a different type of chiropractic advertisement then you can expect to see today.

In the past I’ve shared how to use an iPhone to photograph a persons xrays, showed marking of an AP Pelvic Lumber x-ray, as well as a LMFAO acronym on a neck xray.

Today I am sharng a list of words, along with brief definitions, that you may see in a spinal radiological report from a orthopedist, chiropractor or radiologist. The list is intended for individuals that have at least a basic education in radiology and radiologic terminology.

Anterolisthesis – anterior slippage of one vertebra with reference to the one below.

Biomechanical changes – diagnostic term referring to changes in normal motion of the spine. Flexion, extension, or lateral bending studies are nearly always included in the study if this term is utilized.

Congenital anomaly – a structure or defect of embryological origin that usually causes clinical signs or symptoms.

Convexity – lateral curvature of the spine that is less than 10 degrees. A convexity is named for the side toward which it bows outward (or outside of the “C” shape. A concavity is the inside of the “C” shape, the side toward which the spine curls).

Degenerative Disc Disease – a diagnostic term used to signify loss of disc height with little or no spondylophyte formation.

Photo: Forward Flexion Cervical X-Ray

Degenerative Joint Disease (a.k.a. osteoarthrosis and formerly known as osteoarthritis) – a general term for degenerative processes that occur in any joint. Most commonly used for synovial joints. More specific terms are available to describe spinal degeneration.

Enthesopathy – a general term for disease process at the insertion of tendons, ligaments, or joint capsules onto bones.

Facet arthrosis – degeneration in facet joints (a diagnostic term).

Hyperkyphosis – an increase in the sagittal curve of a section of the spine that normally demonstrates a posterior convexity

Hyperlordosis – an increase in the sagittal curve of a section of the spine that normally demonstrates an anterior convexity.

Hypolordosis – a decrease in the sagittal curve of a section of the spine that normally demonstrates an anterior convexity.

Inclination – a lateral tilt of the spine without actual curvature.

Intervertebral osteochondrosis – a diagnostic term used for degeneration of the nucleus pulposus demonstrated by decrease in disc height with only minimal spondylophyte formation, subchondral sclerosis, and intradiscal vacuum phenomenon.

Laterolisthesis – lateral slippage of one vertebra with reference to the one below. This is rarely seen.

List – a lateral tilt of the spine without actual curvature.

Normal variant – a structure or defect present that causes no major change in appearance and is clinically insignificant.

Pelvic unleveling – viewed coronally, one innominate bone is lower than the other. The low side is the side that should be referred to.

Postural changes – diagnostic term referring to increased or decreased spinal curves, convexities of the spine, and unleveling of body parts.

Retrolisthesis – posterior slippage of one vertebra with reference to the one below.

Scoliosis – lateral curvature of the spine that is equal to or greater than 10 degrees.

Spondylolisthesis – diagnostic term describing slippage of one vertebra on another. May be subdivided into anteriolisthesis, posterolisthesis, or laterolisthesis. When using any of these terms, a measurement in millimeters should be given in the findings section, then a classification (grade) applied in the impressions section. The etiology should also be stated (i.e. dysplastic, isthmic, degenerative, traumatic, or pathologic).

Spondylolysis – a defect in the pars interarticularis of a vertebra. Spondylolisthesis is not necessarily present. Seen most commonly in the lumbar spine.

Spondylosis (a.k.a. Spondylosis deformans) – a diagnostic term used for spondylophytic (osteophytic) changes at the discovertebral margins of the vertebral bodies while disc height is maintained. This is degenerative disc disease involving primarily the anulus fibroslls.

Swayback – four criteria are necessary: Posterior weight bearing of the lumbar spine, extension of the lower lumbar spine, decreased lordosis of the upper lumbar spine, and lowering of the apex of the lumbar curvature.

Uncovertebral arthrosis – a diagnostic term for degeneration of the joints of von Luschka.
