By Michael Dorausch, DC More chiropractic seminar flyers that appeared on my desk. This one comes from the offices of Dr. David Singer. There’s an event in Los Angeles, California on January 24 and 25th but there is no mention of hotel location. There is an event on January 31 in Hartford, Connecticut. There is also an event in Chicago, Illinois on February 14 and 15th. No way I’m going to a chiropractic event on Valentine’s Day. I wish more chiropractors that were marketing their seminars by mail would include information regarding hotels. Los Angeles is a very big area
Nothing much to see here folks, just a photo of a girl (Marlie Moore) saying Chiropractic Rocks! Aside from the misspelling, I’d say I have to agree with her.
By Michael Dorausch, DC One of the last chiropractic seminars I thought I’d benefit from was a Menopause and PMS series called “The Heat Is on!”. The program was so good I ended up buying a bunch of materials while at the seminar to use in my practice. The seminars are put on by chiropractor Lani Simpson and I’ve got to say that they are well worth the attendance fee. It just so happens that there is a Curves women’s fitness center next door to my office in Los Angeles and taking Dr. Simpson’s course has helped me answer many
By Michael Dorausch, DC The post cards are stacked high on my desk. I’ve been out of town the past week and lots of seminar and marketing information from chiropractors were on my desk when I returned. I had to postcards from those crazy chiropractors in Orange County, Dr. Bill DeMoss and Dr. Brad Glowaki. They have a two-day seminar taking place on January 24 and January 25 in Huntington Beach. Above is a screenshot from a scan of the postcard. The program is called Nutz & Boltz and it’s designed to help chiropractors grow their practices more efficiently and
By Michael Dorausch, DC And other folder of photos found. These are from a crew chiropractic trip to Costa Rica in October of 1999. A chiropractor from South Lake Tahoe California provides chiropractic care to individuals in Costa Rica. This was taken inside of a civic gymnasium outside the city of San José. I believe there were about 18 to 25 chiropractors on this particular mission trip and an estimated 40,000 individuals were adjusted during a six-day period. Talk about getting your procedure down and simply focusing on the adjustment. There’s nothing like the intensity of providing chiropractic care while
By Michael Dorausch, DC There is a hard drive somewhere in my house that has a complete archive of photographs from the 1998 through 2000 CREW chiropractic missions to Panama. I probably have more mentions about finding the drive than actually uploading any photographs, so we will see of 2009 is the year they get found. I’ve been condensing some old hard drives onto one big backup drive and I found a couple of photographs from a 1998 chiropractic mission trip. This first one shows to chiropractors checking the spines of individuals working at a electric powerplant. I want to
By Michael Dorausch, DC Photos provided by chiropractor Liam Schubel of the first graduating class of chiropractors in Argentina, South America. More than 100 chiropractors met during an inspiring weekend of December 12 through December 15, 2008. A group of 21 chiropractors who for two years had studied rigorous principled courses received diplomas on December 13, 2008. Presenters during the weekend event included doctors Liam Schubel, Brian Kelly, Myron Brown, and AQA treasurer Maria Ramonda.
