I noticed just about a week ago that there were very few chiropractic seminars posted for the 2008 season on the events pages. Checking the main page today I noticed conference dates are now available for Parker Seminars in Las Vegas, which will be at the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas the weekend of February 7th. There are also dates for other Parker Seminars including Parker Montréal in May, Parker Italy in June, and Parker Dallas in September.
Conference dates are also posted for New Beginnings which will be in the months of January, April, and September of 2008. New Beginnings chiropractic events will continue to be at the Sheraton Eatontown throughout the year.
I know that the 2008 training schedule for Schofield Chiropractic is expected to be posted by the first of December. Watch for events taking place in East Elmhurst New York, the Howard Johnson in Deerfield Beach Florida, the Tempe Mission Palms in Tempe Arizona, the Westin Hotel in Las Vegas, the Carefree Resort and the Biltmore Hotel in Arizona, and the Waterfront Plaza in Oakland, California.
Various continuing education programs from colleges in the United States typically begin populating the database just around the holiday season in December. The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association typically posts their 2008 module schedule around the same time.
In my experience, right around the first week of January is the best time to scan through all the chiropractic conferences and seminars for the year and begin marking your calendars. If you’re requiring continuing education hours in your state, check that the events you are attending offer the hours you’ll be needing and be sure to also confirm that those hours are valid for requirements in your state of practice. This is especially important when you’re traveling to a state such as Florida and you’re needing continuing education credits for the state of California.
I’m looking forward to a very exciting 2008 season of spectacular chiropractic conferences!

3As an FYI to you and your readers, Chiropractic Economics Magazine prints a seminar calendar in their magazine and newsletters.
In addition, they maintain a searchable seminar database on their site. The URI for this is http://www.chiroeco.com/datebook/
They have many seminars listed so for you to state that you don’t see many out in cyberspace is a misconception. You just didn’t have the right resource at hand.
BTW – The Parker Seminar in Vegas Rocked!!!!
