By Michael Dorausch, D.C. I was browsing through some web pages on Planet Chiropractic today and I came across a half a dozen pages that had links to photos that were taken during chiropractic missions to Panama and Costa Rica from May and October of 2000. All the pages are grouped together and if you want to browse through the images you can view the main page here… Chiropractic mission to Panama February 2004 There are five pages of indexed image thumbnails which link to photos from a CREW chiropractic mission to Costa Rica in 2000, and pages of image […]

Giving away my chiropractic website

My first attempt at this post got back spaced and I inadvertently deleted all the content before I saved it. Lesson: incremental saves. OK, you saw the title… I’m giving away a website. It’s late so I’m not getting into much detail now but I’ll update this as I move further along. Simply, I spent about $3000.00 developing a site (Chiropractor Website) and numerous people have emailed me since saying they liked it, could they get one like it, etc… Today I was doing some edits on a few pages and the thought arose to put the site into Creative […]

Local Chiropractor Search Pages

The local chiropractor pages on Planet Chiropractic are getting more visitors every month. This post explains how to get listed so those searching in your state can find you. The pages offer listing of chiropractic office information, school addresses and contact info, as well as organization and association resources. There is a webpage for each of the 50 states in the USA and each state page is directly accessible via major search engines. For example, web surfers seeking chiropractors in Ohio would land on the Chiropractors Ohio page. While there are no schools of chiropractic in Ohio there are state […]

Potential Content is Everywhere

Yesterday I posted an article to Planet Chiropractic News titled Live Subluxation Free or Die Hard. The article was about Bruce Willis, his 4th Die Hard film (opening tomorrow), and chiropractic. People sometimes ask where I get this stuff. Do we call an agent for Bruce Willis? Did someone from his promotional office call us? Nope. Most of the time, nearly all the articles I tend to cover come out of the ether. This one went like this… I was running on the beach in Santa Monica Sunday afternoon. As is typical, a million things felt like they were downloading […]

We were waiting until July 4th of 2007 to release the latest news regarding the chiropractic profession’s number one ranked online classified ad service. If you haven’t been on the website lately you may notice something different, there are no fees for posting ads. That’s right, freedom from paying fees to post chiropractic related classified ads. Certain sections of Planet Chiropractic turned nine years old this past month and we wanted to do something to celebrate the event. While ads for things such as Associates, private equipment sales such as adjusting tables, and substitution services, were always free, we’ve now […]

World’s oldest man born September 1895

The world’s oldest man appeared in news articles last week (Monday, June 18, 2007) after he received an official certificate from the Guinness World Records, verifying him as the world’s oldest male. According to report on Yahoo! News, Tomoji Tanabe is currently 111 years old, born on September 18th, 1895. Chiropractors will recognize that date as the day D.D. Palmer, the founder of chiropractic, gave the first chiropractic adjustment to a gentleman by the name of Harvey Lillard, in Davenport Iowa. On September 18, 2007 don’t forget to say happy birthday to Tomoji and to Chiropractic, as they’ll both be […]

Unbalanced autism mercury vaccine trial coverage

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. More e-mails came in from parents regarding a vaccine related article (in my opinion, it was more of a freedom of speech related article) that was published last week on planet chiropractic, and distributed through various news channels across the Internet. The posting of the article brought to light some pretty eye-opening discoveries as I now have reason to believe that at least one major internet news distribution network was contacted in an effort to block the article from being distributed. The article did get distributed and it continues to circulate amongst those paying attention to […]

Whiplash Relief as Wellness Chiropractic Care

Is whiplash and injury pain relief part of wellness chiropractic care? Several months ago someone presented a demo to me of a marketing campaign they were thinking of rolling out in my area. They showed me some slides, pretty graphics, a mini commercial, and gave me a pitch that the world is moving towards wellness so it would be in my best interest to get on the bandwagon of optimum health and wellbeing and begin projecting that to my community. With their help, and several thousand dollars of my hard earned hands on adjusting money, they could get me exclusively […]

More Chiropractic Internet Service Scams

By Michael Dorausch, D.C. They pop up like weeds, offers to chiropractors to get you “top” in search engines with magic search engine techniques and “soon to be” high traffic domain destinations. They use fear, your “territory” is still available but it will soon be gone, act now, send us your money, we are going to be at the top and you could be there too! Someday I may have a list together of companies I’ve seen appearing in emails (spamming me), and in online advertisements, that were here today and gone tomorrow. It appears that for every one I […]

Dr. Darrel Crain has been a contributing author to planet chiropractic news for the past few years. He’s done an incredible job and has continued to provide some great content for the web site. He gets quite a bit of e-mail from those reading his articles. An e-mail was sent to me which I forwarded on to him that was sent by a student at Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Crain and I both agree that the raw energy pouring out of new chiropractors is something to love. The student was hoping that “every chiropractor” would read the […]
